Steelers season never truly ends for Steeler Nation so while the team starts to put in the work to prepare for the 2016 NFL season we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Sunday, June 12th.

Sorting out left tackle

The Steelers will have several position battles going into training camp in Latrobe next month and one of the most intriguing ones includes one of the most important positions on the field. The Steelers lost left tackle Kelvin Beachum to free agency and his replacement could be either Alejandro Villanueva or Ryan Harris.

Mike Prisuta has Steelers offensive line coach

Mike Munchak

’s comments about how he sees the position battle playing out between Villanueva and Harris in training camp.

"“We’ll get to training camp and get pads on and those things will kind of unfold, who the best five (offensive linemen) are. We try to do that every year, but that’s going to be an emphasis, looking to those two guys and giving everyone a chance to have the best guys on the field.” – Mike Munchak"

Munchak has had a knack for getting the best out of the offensive line since arriving in 2014. I’d trust him to get this sorted out.

Booming for kids

Business is definitely booming for Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown but he’s not too busy to give back to the community. Saturday afternoon was a hot, sweaty day in Western PA but Steelers players came out in full force to support their teammate and his cause for a charity softball tournament.

Brown’s softball tournament benefitted Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.

Shaking it off

It’s never a good time to remember the play that ended the Steelers’ season last year. You can blame the Trib’s Mark Kaboly for this one. He talked to Steelers running back Fitzgerald Toussaint about his fourth-quarter fumble against the Broncos in the AFC divisional round.

Next: Steelers tight end depth

"“That (fumble) doesn’t define me as a player nor does it define me as a person. It was a difficult situation, but not just for me but for the team because I know how hard they worked before I even got here. I am working to put myself in that position never to do that again.” – Fitzgerald Toussaint"

Toussaint has his work cut out for him this season behind a healthy Le’Veon Bell and DeAngelo Williams on the depth chart but playing with a chip on his shoulder to erase the fumble from our memories will definitely help his cause.
