Center:

Starter: Maurkice Pouncey

Backup: Cody Wallace

The Steelers welcome back center Maurkice Pouncey who had to endure quite the 2015 season that included seven surgical procedures. During a preseason game against the Green Bay Packers Pouncey broke his left fibula when Ha Ha Clinton-Dix fell onto the back of his leg.

He suffered a setback a few months later when a staph infection took over his surgical wound. He had to have six total surgeries and a skin graph done before finally getting the clean bill of health and the all clear to return to action.

Pouncey returned to action for offseason workouts and felt great to finally be able to plant his leg and go through all of the motions he needs to play. He’ll be backed up by the always reliable Cody Wallace, who stepped in for Pouncey last season and the offensive line didn’t miss a beat.
