While the team recovers from their latest victory and starts to prepare for the Jets we’ll be busy looking for mentions of your Black & Gold so we’ve got you covered. Here’s your Steelers Morning Huddle for Tuesday, Oct. 4th.

Throwing birdies

Avid golf fan Ben Roethlisberger spent Sunday afternoon watching more of the Ryder Cup than the football action of the day, he told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. After that he went out and put on the best quarterbacking performance of the week.

His 22-of-27 for 300 yards and five touchdowns game him a quarterback rating of 152.5 and the ESPN QBR rating of 98.3. Roethlisberger had three touchdowns in the first quarter alone. Yes. More of that please.

He loves it

More from Steelers News

Le’Veon Bell made a triumphant return to the field on Sunday night, igniting the Steelers offense that couldn’t find the end zone in Philadelphia just a week ago. Bell added five receptions for 34 yards to his 144 yards on the ground.

Teresa Varley asked Bell how he feels about working as a receiver as well as a running back.

"“I love it. Playing wide out, not even just catching the ball, but when DeAngelo (Williams) is at running back going in there and blocking the safety. They hit me all game. It’s an opportunity to hit them. I love utilizing everything I can do to keep the defense off balance.” – Le’Veon Bell"

An offensive player that takes pleasure in hitting. Sounds like he was made for Pittsburgh.

The remix

Antonio Brown will probably be getting another envelope from the league this week with a fine for his dancing in the end zone in the 43-14 win over the Chiefs. Mostly because the NFL hates fun. If you hate fun as well, then you’re going to want to avert your eyes. Get ready for the remixes.

That’s just good stuff right there. Don’t want to see AB dancing in the end zone? Don’t watch this year then because it’s going to keep happening. Deal with it.
