Steelers Game Day Grub: Even Better Than Cincinnati Chili

The Steelers head to Cincinnati for some good old fashioned AFC North road action.
Many people are thinking revenge in this game. The Steelers don’t really need revenge in this game, though. The debacle of the last trip to Cincy that resulted in a concussed Antonio Brown and a fired up Adam Jones and Vontaze Burfict handing the win over via penalties is long gone.
Pittsburgh doesn’t need revenge because Cincy has already done the damage this season. They currently sit at 5-7-1 and the only comfort in that will be that Bungles fans won’t have to endure the annual playoff loss. So there’s that. Chin up, guys.

What does need to happen for the Black & Gold is to remain focused on the task at hand and that is winning their remaining games to secure the AFC North Division title and be able to host at least one playoff game.
Cincinnati can take solace in the fact that they won’t have to endure another playoff loss this year and there’s always comfort in knowing that they aren’t the worst football team in Ohio. Actually, that’s not really a compliment. That’s like…well…like being called the best football team in Ohio.
Oh well, there’s always football food to make everyone feel better. Cincinnati is not only known for incredibly average football, they also have garbage chili. What you can do with that chili is throw it in the trash where it belongs and make my turkey chili instead.
Here are the steps to make turkey chili:
My leftover turkey was my Thanksgiving turkey. It was a Popeye’s Cajun Turkey. Yes, you read that right. The place that makes the best chicken tenders on the planet and biscuits that never need butter can also make your Thanksgiving turkey.
Check it out for yourself. You and your family or whoever you invite over to your house for Thanksgiving will thank me. The turkey comes pre-seasoned and almost butterflied so that it cooks in like two hours. The best part, besides every part of it, is the leftovers.
Be prepared, this turkey chili has a kick to it. The turkey itself has the Cajun spices and the chipotle in the chili will get you, just like the rhythm. Have some tums handy just in case.
Get all of your favorite toppings and this chili will go down faster than Andy Dalton when Stephon Tuitt blows through his blockers.
