List of potential Pittsburgh Steelers NFL Draft targets at each stage of the draft to fill Steelers needs.
With the NFL Combine approaching, I decided to lay out an article beginning to delve into the Pittsburgh Steelers potential draft strategy. With few glaring Steelers needs on the roster besides outside linebacker, Pittsburgh can go a lot of different ways with this upcoming draft.
Many analysts and fans alike are speculating that the Steelers may target a quarterback early in the draft with Ben’s recent retirement talks. Others are calling for the Steelers to fix their biggest hole and double-dip on EDGE rushers early in the draft.
Then there are others, including myself, who believe that the Steelers should spend an early pick on a skill position player to take this high-powered offense to the next level.
However, no one can be sure of what the Steelers will do on Draft Day. Therefore, I decided to highlight potential fits at all stages of the draft for the Steelers seven biggest needs. Regardless of what draft strategy you prefer, you could build a plan with these Steelers targets below.
I’ll conclude this post with a mock draft of my own, once again using Fanspeak.com, and I encourage you to try it out for yourself and leave your mock results in the comments section below.
