Need 1. EDGE

A position almost all agree is Pittsburgh’s biggest need, the Steelers may plan to double-dip at this position come April.

Day 1 – Takkarist McKinley, UCLA

Day 2 – Derek Rivers, Youngstown State

Day 3 – Ejuan Price, Pittsburgh

Need 2. ILB

Even if Timmons is back in Pittsburgh in 2017, the Steelers would be wise to upgrade this position to plan for the future and draft a player who could spell Timmons in coverage in nickel and dime looks.

Day 1 – Haason Reddick, Temple

Day 2 – Duke Riley, LSU

Day 3 – Jordan Evans, Oklahoma

Need 3. Slot CB

With William Gay still on the roster and the situation with Senquez Golson, the Steelers may potentially not have to prioritize this need in 2017. However, I think it would be wise to add more physicality into their secondary and draft a corner who can play in both zone and man looks.

Day 1 – Jalen Tabor, Florida

Day 2 – Jourdan Lewis, Michigan

Day 3 – Damontae Kazee, San Diego State

Need 4. QB

With his potential retirement now looming over Pittsburgh, the Steelers need to begin to plan for life after Ben. Unfortunately, finding a franchise QB isn’t the easiest of tasks, especially if the Steelers choose to wait till later in the Draft to address this need.

Day 1 – Patrick Mahomes, Texas Tech

Day 2 – Davis Webb, California

Day 3 – Jerod Evans, Virginia Tech
