The Negative Traits

Baker’s size is a bit concerning at the next level. His sub-200 pound frame will struggle handling the size in the NFL.

He will need to approach tackling from a new perspective as he defaults to going shoulder first into bigger opponents. This can become a problem with repeated blows to the shoulders giving him injury issues.

At times, Baker can commit too much to speeding downhill and over pursue causing missed plays. He will need to garner a new level of self-discipline in the league to become a better tackling safety.

While he does play with a lot of physical nature, this physicality dips against bigger opponents such as tight ends and power backs. He will need to try to carry himself at or above 200 pounds in order to compete at safety in the NFL.
