2. How ready is Senquez Golson?

Senquez Golson is the biggest question mark on the roster. After missing his first two seasons with injuries, Golson is hoping to come back and compete for a job in 2017. Two years is a long time in football, though, meaning Golson may need awhile before he’s game ready.

With Cameron Sutton and Brian Allen joining the team, Golson has a lot to prove in a short amount of time. Unless he can show he’s game ready this summer, chances are he’s pushed to the back of the line in the depth chart.

For a player with as much potential as Golson had, it would be a shame to see him not workout in Pittsburgh. Of course, there’s just as much of a chance he’s ready to start this season as there is he’s going to ride the bench.

That’s the best part about watching him during summer workouts. No one has any idea what kind of shape he’s in, meaning the first time anyone sees how ready Golson truly is will be this summer.
