The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense is going to take a major step in development this season and will find plenty of names in the 2017 Pro Bowl because of it.

Not many people expect the Pittsburgh Steelers to thrive defensively. With a young secondary, an unproven Bud Dupree, and two defensive ends coming off injuries, there is a lot of reasons to believe it’ll be an all-offense season once again.

Instead, people should see how far along this unit has come in just one year. From getting torched by the New England Patriots to now, this defense has become one of the NFL’s best.

With the young talent they have and the strides they’ve made during the offseason, this defensive unit should find themselves with a few Pro Bowl selections. Players who have already attended one and player who are new to the scene will be given their chance to represent Pittsburgh in the 2017 Pro Bowl.

There are plenty of names to expect in the 2017 Pro Bowl from Pittsburgh. Some of these guys are young, while others are looking to leave on a strong note. Either way, the Steelers will have plenty of representatives in Orlando this winter.
