Sean Davis

Sean Davis showed a ton of promise during his rookie season last year. His 54 tackles and one interception wasn’t Pro Bowl numbers, but definitely a great start to his NFL campaign. Now, as one of the best up and coming players on the roster, Davis is looking to become a force in this secondary in 2017.

This guy is so fun to watch. He’s a hard-hitting safety who can also play the ball in the air. Maybe he isn’t the next Troy Polamalu, but he does have a ton of potential and may be just as fun to watch once he’s fully developed.

In 2017, he’ll have a more experienced defensive backfield around him and will only have to worry about his assignments this season. When he’s given the opportunity to play his game and be able to rely on the rest of the secondary, he’ll make a lot of plays for Pittsburgh.

This could be an entirely different year for Davis. As someone who has already proven himself in just one season, all fans should expect to see him explode in 2017.

As long as there are no setbacks to his game, and the shoulder surgery he’s supposedly had over the offseason is good to go, Sean Davis should be one of the best young safeties in football in 2017.
