5. Secondary Depth

Behind Mike Mitchell, Sean Davis, Ross Cockrell, and Artie Burns, there is a lot of uncertainty regarding the secondary depth. In the slot, a battle is brewing between veteran William Gay, rookie Cameron Sutton, and Coty Sensabaugh. With Sutton likely out Friday, Gay, Sensabaugh, and camp sleeper Mike Hilton should man the slot.

Speaking of Hilton, the 5 foot 9 CB is making a strong case for the final 53. The tiny CB is all over the field with a couple of interceptions in camp, which has caught the eye of Keith Butler and Mike Tomlin. With Senquez Golson out, be on the lookout for this Ole Miss product to make a splash vs the Giants.

At safety, Robert Golden, Malik Golden, and Jordan Dangerfield will try to sure up back up spots behind Mitchel and Davis. I like Dangerfield here, who plays with the same reckless abandon as ex-Steeler, Ryan Clark.

Pay attention to: fifth round cornerback Brian Allen, who is raw, but has great athleticism and ball skills to go with his 6 foot 3 207-pound frame. He’ll have some good matchups against the Giants talented wide receiving group.
