The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the New York Giants in there preseason opener. Here’s how to watch online.

As the Steelers begin their chase for Super Bowl ring seven, they start by taking on the New York Giants on the road. For a preseason opener, Pittsburgh has a heavy task on their hands, with plenty of position battles still up for grabs.

With little depth at running back, and an open battle at slot receiver, the Steelers head to New York with plenty of questions to answer. Add Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown not participating and the challenge of winning also becomes a difficult roadblock.

Pittsburgh is taking this first preseason game as a learning point, though. Josh Dobbs will get his first NFL start at quarterback, and James Conner is looking for his first action as rookie too. Second-round pick, JuJu Smith-Schuster is having a phenominal training camp, and is hoping to carry his success onto the field.

T.J. Watt may be the biggest addition to this roster. The 30th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft is already turning heads not only on the team but around the league. With plenty of playing time coming his way in Week 1 of the preseason, he’s looking to show Steelers Nation and the NFL that he’s ready to dominate.

There is plenty to look for in this one. As two Super Bowl contending teams take the field for the first time this season, follow along with Still Curtain for all live game updates.
