On a night most of the country will be watching boxing, the Pittsburgh Steelers send their stars onto the field for the first time.

For the first time this season, the Steelers will start their star weapons. Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and James Harrison will suit up for this Week 3 matchup against the Colts. With Le’Veon Bell still holding out, this will be the closest fans get to seeing their starting offense.

There’s still plenty of competition left in Pittsburgh’s preseason. With the receiving battle still in full gear, and the starting cornerback position now open, this team will be looking to find sets of players who click.

Ross Cockrell and Coty Sensabaugh may be the most interesting battle to watch. Cockrell, who started all of last season at corner, has been having a less than impressive offseason. With new signee, Sensabaugh, finding his stride late, it’s anyone’s spot as they compete for the starting job.

Last game, the defense could’ve used a little help. Although the team pulled off a 17-13 victory, they still started the game slow. Against Matt Ryan and one of the best offenses in the NFL, perfection was not expected. But as a unit looking to improve from last season, they certainly didn’t look they were ready to take on too much firepower.

On the offensive end, even if the stars only play a series, it’s enough action. The team or fans may not be able to get a feel in this first go, but it’s a taste of what to expect heading into the regular season.

With a lot to watch for, this Week 3 preseason game should be a good one. As Pittsburgh hopes to continue building momentum heading to the regular season, they’ll be hoping someone steps up to fill the remaining voids. And with the starters seeing action for the first time, it’ll be the most interesting game the Steelers have played, yet.
