2. Le’Veon Bell Returns to Form

The Steelers’ star running back was another who impressed after a disappointing week one. Bell led the Steelers in rushing this week, carrying the ball 27 times, as the Steelers ran it 32 times.

Bell accounted for 87 yards, or 3.2 yards a carry. He wasn’t explosive against Minnesota, breaking for nine yards twice and seven once, but he was durable and dependable when the team needed him, playing a three-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dust style not normally associated with him.

However, it’s good to see that, like Bryant, he’s becoming the player we all know again after his preseason contract holdout. We’ve expected big things from Le’Veon Bell in the past, and Steelers fans have every reason to do so again next week against Chicago and beyond.

In backup news, fan favorite James Conner had one carry for nine yards.
