Pittsburgh Steelers’ rookie wide out, JuJu Smith-Schuster, will miss Sunday’s matchup with the Green Bay Packers.

According to the team, Smith-Schuster will not participate in Sunday’s game against the Packers. The rookie is dealing with a hamstring injury and will sit out Week 12 in order to let himself heal approaching the playoffs.

Martavis Bryant, Eli Rogers and Justin Hunter will see more action without Smith-Schuster as the Steelers look to continue their success through the air.

"“They put the work in,” Ben Roethlisberger told Steelers media. “Those are guys that we expected to play before we even knew what we had in JuJu. We never like to go into a game without full strength, but guys will step up.”"

Outside of Smith-Schuster, the Steelers will be without tight end, Vance McDonald and cornerback, Joe Haden. While Haden is still expected to miss a few weeks before returning from his fibula injury, McDonald is hoping to make it back on the field as soon as possible.

Pittsburgh will likely continue relying on the hot hand which could mean more touches for Le’Veon Bell. Unless Ben Roethlisberger finds connections with Martavis Bryant and Eli Rogers, his Sunday could consist heavily on Antonio Brown.

Green Bay has become less of a threat since the loss of Aaron Rodgers, but is still a must win at Heinz Field. With a long list of defensive injuries, the Packers still have a lot to overcome in Week 12.
