Pittsburgh Steelers look to win sixth straight as they take on Green Bay
The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Green Bay Packers in primetime during Week 12, looking to win their sixth straight.
For the Steelers, they’re looking to keep their AFC home-field advantage hopes alive with another win at home. Green Bay has taken a major blow after losing Aaron Rodgers and has looked like a beatable team since.
Pittsburgh is hoping to look past injuries that would usually worry them and take advantage of a beat up Packers team. Without Joe Haden, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Vance McDonald, this team will be missing weapons Sunday night.
Against the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh proved they can play without their injured defensive backs. Coty Sensabaugh and Mike Hilton stepped up in Haden and Mike Mitchell’s absence and are hoping to do the same this week.
The activation of Cameron Sutton is also going to help this team remain on top. The rookie out of Tennessee has high praise, even after missing most of the season with a hamstring injury. Despite not playing a regular season snap, Sutton could be a vital part of this secondary moving towards the playoffs.
The Steelers should be able to pull of a win against the Packers. Pittsburgh is notoriously known to blow easy games, but this late in the season, they’re looking playoffs and nothing is going to stop them from getting as close to the top of the AFC as possible.
Next: Big Ben needs to build on hot play
With a solid performance from Ben Roethlisberger and the continued help from the secondary backups, this team should be able to add another win to their record in Week 12.
