The Pittsburgh Steelers will still play the Baltimore Ravens during primetime in Week 14.

The Steelers have one of the most notable schedules in the NFL this season, as they play five consecutive during primetime events. Due to the NFL’s flex scheduling policy, these game could change at any moment, but for the Steelers, they will not.

Many believed that because the Steelers had a primetime game switched in 2016 that it would be the same this season. However, the league has decided to keep the Steelers vs Ravens Week 14 matchup during Sunday Night Football.

As two playoff teams, this could have a lot on the line.

While the Ravens aren’t fighting for homefield advantage, they will be a part of the wildcard race. Come Week 14, with a win next week, Baltimore can certainly find themselves in contention for a first round spot in the postseason.

On top of it all, the fact that this is the biggest AFC North rivalry in the NFL definitely helps the hype. No matter what their records are, Steelers vs Ravens is one of the most intense rivalries in sports. With so much on the line come Week 14, this matchup could be one of the most significant of the season.

Pittsburgh will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13 before taking on Baltimore. From there, they’ll move on to the New England Patriots, Houston Texans and finish the regular season against the Cleveland Browns.

There’s still plenty of season left, but right now, every game counts for both teams. With a lot on the line for both teams, Baltimore vs Pittsburgh will be just as big as it usually is. Despite New England being the focus of the fans, every game from here on out counts just as much as the next for Pittsburgh.
