Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Mike Tomlin, made some attention grabbing comments, but not everyone is against him.

During an interview with Tony Dungy before the Steelers’ Sunday Night Football matchup with the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh head coach, Mike Tomlin, made some interesting comments. When being asked about the upcoming schedule, Tomlin told Dungy that he and his team are focused on the New England Patriots and their Week 15 square off.

While not everyone has agreed with Tomlin’s word, one of his players made it known that he’s on his coach’s side.

Guard, Ramon Foster, is one of many members of the Steelers who host a radio show on Tuesdays in the Pittsburgh area. For Foster, his spot is Tuesday mornings on The Fan Morning Show 93.7 The Fan.

During his slot Tuesday following the Steelers’ Week 12 win over the Packers, Foster made some comments on his beliefs of his coach’s remarks on the Patriots. Even if Ben Roethlisberger told his radio audience that the team isn’t focused on the Patriots, Foster made it clear that he is.

"“I agree with him, I mean if we continue what we’ve been doing these next few weeks, we’ll see the New England Patriots at home [in the playoffs] and everybody knows they’re the team that everybody is chasing, not just the AFC, but the NFC,” said Foster. “I think we’d be idiotic to not acknowledge that hey, that’s a big time game for us probably twice this year. I love the fact that he called it out like that.”"

Foster and Tomlin have plenty of confidence in their team, rightfully so. The Steelers have proven they’re one of the best in the NFL. With the personality of this team, there’s a form of swagger that allows them to feel confident in their play.

Maybe not everyone is thinking the same, but it doesn’t matter. No one in the Steelers locker room doesn’t believe their the best team in the league and that’s something that isn’t going to change.
