Pittsburgh Steelers: Week 13 projected inactives vs Bengals

PITTSBURGH, PA - OCTOBER 22: Joe Haden
PITTSBURGH, PA - OCTOBER 22: Joe Haden

The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night football and below is a list of the team’s projected inactives.

Joe Haden– You could probably see this coming week in advance and it may be a few more weeks until Haden is back on the field. He has a broken fibula and that takes at least a month to heal. He broke it during the game against the Colts. Coty Sensabaugh will be his replacement until he can get himself back on the field.

Vance McDonald– McDonald did not practice all week with an ankle injury and has already been ruled an out for this game. He injured the ankle in Week eleven and it has lingered through this week. The Steeler will miss their best blocking tight end as well as downfield pass catcher at the position.

Mike Mitchell– Mitchell has gone the wrong way on the injury report. He has been dealing with an ankle injury and although he was limited last week, he has not practiced this week. He has earned the doubtful status and with him not practicing this week, you can probably guess that he won’t dress for the game against the Bengals. The Steelers will miss his physicality against a physical team in the Bengals.

Antonio Brown– Although he is hardly ever injured and hardly misses a game, this may be the game the Steelers are without their star receiver. He is a game-time decision as he traveled with the team. Since he didn’t practice on Friday or Saturday I have to think he won’t be able to go tonight.

Joshua Dobbs– Dobbs is still third on the Steelers depth chart and that means he won’t dress. Roethlisberger has been able to go all season and so seeing Dobbs on this list should be a positive sign.

Matt Feiler– Jerald Hawkins has probably jumped Feiler on the pecking order and so you have to think he will be inactive with the Steelers only dressing seven offensive linemen usually.

Dan McCullers– He is the sixth defensive lineman on the Steelers roster and with the top five being healthy, you should count on him being inactive for this game.
