Pittsburgh Steelers look to bounce back in Week 16 vs Houston Texans
After a controversial Week 15 loss to the New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to bounce back against the Texans.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are hoping to turn their Week 15 luck around and come through win a in Houston. With the Jacksonville Jaguars falling in Week 16, the Steelers are one win away from taking a major advantage in playoff seeding heading into the final week of the season.
Pittsburgh’s biggest concern is the loss of Antonio Brown. Although AB should return by their first playoff game, dealing with the injury now will force this offense to rely on different players to contribute until the return of their superstar.
On the positive side of things, the Steelers are looking to have three returning starters to their lineup. Joe Haden, Vance McDonald and Marcus Gilbert will all be back on the field in Week 16. After missing games with injuries, Haden and McDonald are looking to get some live action in before their postseason run.
Gilbert, on the other hand, is returning from a four-game PED suspension. With his return came some unfortunate roster move. All-time sack leader, James Harrison, found himself on waivers after the team decided to make room for Gilbert. Now, just two games before what possibly could’ve been his final playoff run, Harrison is hoping another team picks him up.
The Steeler are looking to stay healthy and pull of an impressive win with two weeks remaining. Houston is dealing with multiple injuries, which is putting a major damper on the team’s success. So, the Steelers should be able to take advantage of the opportunity and pull of an important Week 16 win.

The Texans aren’t too big of a threat this week. As they look to turn their luck around over the offseason, the Steelers are hoping to earn their way into the second-round of the playoffs with a first-round bye in two weeks.
