Kameron Canaday

It wasn’t expected, but the Portland State rookie earned the starting long snapping job in Pittsburgh. After beating out sixth-round pick, Colin Holba, Canaday was handed the job and showed it’s his to lose moving forward.

It’s hard to judge a long snapper outside of watching them, so explaining the impact Canaday had is tough. But when he was on the field, there were minimum mistakes, and he was always involved in blocking and getting down the field.

He’ll need to resign this offseason, but chances are he’ll stick around with a few-year deal before the summer. As Pittsburgh begins resigning players, Canaday will likely stay under the radar, but should receive a deal for at least next season.
