Justin Hunter

Justin Hunter never really got a chance to prove anything this season. It wasn’t his fault, he’s just on a team with three star wide receivers and Eli Rogers. So, finding reps for a fifth wide receiver, who’s competing with Darius Heyward-Bey each week, isn’t easy.

His four receptions for 23 yards and a touchdown mean literally nothing for Pittsburgh’s season. After a year in the Steel City, it could be a stretch for Hunter to stay with the team, unless he remains the active/inactive guy from week-to-week.

This signing isn’t a win or a lose. Hunter was brought here to be a just in case player and he worked out perfect for the role. Hopefully he can find a resurgence in his career somewhere this offseason.
