The Negative Traits

With speed sometimes comes over-pursuit. Harrison is in this category as sometimes he over-pursues the ball carrier.

This causes missed tackles and misses plays on the ball in the air. Shiftier running backs give him a challenge if he misses as they can cut back for extra yardage or break a big gain.

He will need to improve his angles and his tackling form. He had quite a few missed tackles in the three games I watched from 2017.

Some of these were due to poor form and not wrapping up. Other times this was due to his over pursuit and poor angles being taken.

The Steelers can’t afford another player who does not wrap up so he will need to work on this the most if they decide to take him at pick 28. Harrison’s coverage skills and physicality are two big pluses for the Steelers but his poor tackling is not something the Steelers will ignore.

Another thing he needs to work on is tapping into his second gear. He has the speed to do it but at times he doesn’t seem to kick it into high gear when he should be.
