The 2018 NFL draft is mere weeks away. With the combine and pro days out-of-the-way, let’s have another crack at the Steelers draft in my second mock.

The Pittsburgh Steelers went out and signed Morgan Burnett and Jonathan Bostic this offseason. This immediately plugged their two major needs in the draft on defense.

The signings allow Pittsburgh to go any direction in the draft. The team could trade up or down to gain position or more picks. Trading back, however, is more likely than trading up for Pittsburgh.

With Ben getting older by the season and the current contract situation with Bell, they could choose a running back and a quarterback at some point in the draft.

Receiver is also a position they could look to address. After 2018, just Antonio Brown and Juju Smith-Schuster would be under control for 2019.

This makes the very real possibility that Pittsburgh will take a receiver in the first three rounds of the 2018 draft. With a few good receivers that could be sitting there at 28 or at 60, the likelihood of taking one in round one or two is high.
