The Pittsburgh Steelers have a game plan for the 2018 NFL Draft, but that plan with alter depending on the direction they go with the 28th pick.

Opening round of the 2018 NFL Draft is going to be thrilling. Fans, teams and players still have no idea how the draft will go from start to finish. It’s been a while since we’ve been this close to draft night without any certainty of the first pick.

Making the rest of the draft a guessing game. From pick one to pick 32, this NFL Draft is a game of chance, and every team is simply hoping their top prospect falls to their name.

For the Steelers, this leaves a lot of options at No. 28. From inside linebackers in Leighton Vander Esch and Rashaan Evans, to a quarterback in Mason Rudolph, and possibly even Derrius Guice, this team has no idea the direction they’ll go on draft day.

The 28th pick doesn’t just effect this current roster, but the entire draft as a whole. The direction Pittsburgh takes will determine the course for their remaining six picks.
