The Pittsburgh Steelers started day three with yet another safety, but have four picks on the day to fill needs before the end of the draft.

The 2018 NFL Draft has been a friend to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Through two days, this team has gotten their next quarterback, replaced Martavis Bryant and added a versatile safety to the defense. Now, they look to add an inside linebacker and maybe a running back to the roster.

Day 3 can go anywhere, much like the beginning of this team’s draft. No one saw most of Pittsburgh’s first two days coming and it’s hard to say anyone predict Day 3. With two picks in the fifth-round and two picks in the seventh, the Steelers can finish off the draft just as strong as they started.

Mike Tomlin and Kevin Colbert are geniuses on Day 3 in the draft. This is where Antonio Brown came from. Now, they’re trying to find the next diamond in the rough with four last day selections.

Pittsburgh Steelers Day 3 selections:

Penn State. Marcus Allen. 148. player. 55. . Safety

Jaylen Samuels. 165. player. 55. . Running Back. NC State

55. . DT. Alabama. Johsua Frazier. 220. player

The final draft picks may be in, but Pittsburgh’s offseason is only getting started. They now head to OTAs and minicamp before training camp starts in July. With new stars on the field, this team is ready for a Super Bowl run.

Ring number seven is only going to happen if the first guy on the roster and the last are ready to win. Whether these late round picks turn into starters or practice squad fillers, they’ll need to bring everything they have to the City of Champions.
