Pittsburgh Steelers: 3 players who can be cut following the NFL Draft

One of these two aren’t going to be around in 2018. Pittsburgh’s running back depth chart is already filled with three players will be on the roster. Maybe they’ll keep a fourth around for special teams purposes, but chances are one of these players is cut.

The other will find himself on the practice squad more times than not. The Steelers have three players who all show tons of potential. You aren’t getting rid of Le’Veon Bell, James Conner is the next power back, and Jaylen Samuels looks to be the pass-catching option this team was looking for.

That doesn’t leave an opening for anyone. The Steelers really brought both of these guys back as basically a “worst case scenario” type package. If they couldn’t find anyone else, they’d keep one of them on the roster and the other waiting around for an opportunity. But now that they have their rookie, these two are likely gone.
