The Pittsburgh Steelers had plenty of talent not see playing time last season, including a few rookies who look to make their name known in year two.

2017 brought a lot of talent to the Steelers roster. But due to injuries and more names than the team knew what to do with, Pittsburgh only saw a few of their 2017 rookies on the field during the regular season.

Now, they’ll look to earn their place on the depth chart after a year of experience. At more than one position, these second-year players can step in and take on a major role in 2018. If they prove worthy during camp, they could be the first man up off the bench this season.

For others, it’s a waiting game to see how their skills developed after one year of pro football. Some needed to sit and learn, and now, will be evaluated to see how significant their future with the organization is.

Either way, 2018 is bringing plenty of young players to the spotlight for the Steelers, and these three names highlight the list of star-studded sophomores in Pittsburgh.
