Brian Allen

Brian Allen is a little bit of a stretch. Whether or not he’ll make the roster is still up in the air, but with William Gay gone and Coty Sensabaugh not looking promising, he could find himself being the final corner on the 53-man team.

If he does make the cut, he should be the first man up off the bench. A tall corner, standing 6’3, Allen has all the physical traits you want to see in a corner. He has coverage issues, but most of them stem from lack of experience at the position.

As long as he can build on his skills this summer, he should earn a chance to get reps this season. He’ll have to out-play Sensabaugh during camp, but for some reason, he seems to have become a forgotten name to many. So, as long as Allen’s potential looks more intriguing, he’ll get a place on the roster.
