Sean Davis

Sean Davis is suffering from two talented rookies with a lot of upside. Terrell Edmunds and Marcus Allen aren’t starting NFL safeties this year, but after a season of experience, could very well be ready to take on the job.

Davis had an off year in his sophomore season after a strong start to his NFL career. Many believe he’ll bounce back in 2018. But if he doesn’t, he could get the short end of the stick when the team is looking at what safeties to keep next season.

If he moves from strong to free safety this season he should see improvement. He’s still a strong part of this defense. Having Morgan Burnett back there to help will take pressure off in coverage. Chances are he has a great year in the secondary, but it’s certainly a must that he gets better from last season.
