Maurkice Pouncey has been a rock for this team since day one. Despite injury problems throughout his career, the center has turned the Steelers’ offensive line into one of the best in football.

Pouncey made an impact right away as a rookie in 2010 coming out of Florida. He earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl, starting all 16 regular-season games, as the Steelers made it all the way to the Super Bowl. His twin brother Mike Pouncey would enter the NFL a year later and become a three-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman for the Miami Dolphins.

The six-time Pro Bowler has yet to win a Super Bowl ring but has been with the team every step of the way in their journey to build a team worthy of getting to the big game. Without the addition of Pouncey in 2010, the team would’ve never completed the group of five they have today.

Pouncey’s legacy in Pittsburgh is secure. Whether he wins a Super Bowl or not, he’ll be known as one of the greatest centers to wear black and yellow. With that, he’ll go down as one of the best to play in the City of Champions.
