Running Backs (3)

  1. Le’Veon Bell
  2. James Conner
  3. Jaylen Samuels

The running back group is deeper than Pittsburgh has had in recent years. They have the obvious workhorse, Bell, for at least one more season.

The depth is the part I love and can’t wait to see utilized in 2018. James Conner enters his sophomore year off knee surgery but he looked sharp in OTAs.

Jaylen Samuels is the do-it-all gadget back with something to prove after being taken in round five. His ability to catch out of the backfield as well as be a between the tackles runner bolsters his chances for touches this season.

Last season Bell was not on the initial 53 man and was the 54th player until he signed his tag. They could do that again and keep Fitzgerald Toussaint or Stevan Ridley as a placeholder.
