LaMarr Woodley – LB

2008 stats: Combined 60 tackles, 11.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 4 fumbles recovered, 1 touchdown, 1 interception

If James Harrison was Batman, LaMarr Woodley was certainly his sidekick Robin. Together, the duo set a franchise-record for 27 1/2 sacks amassed in a season. Woodley, alongside Polamalu and Harrison, was perhaps one of the biggest pieces of the Steelers run to the championship in 2008. Woodley, drafted in the second round of the 2007 draft, finds himself as perhaps the most productive member of this list.

Out of the many plays Woodley made during his time as a Steeler, his most memorable is without a doubt the strip-sack of Kurt Warner with a mere five seconds left in Super Bowl XLIII, effectively ending the game. Woodley was also a part of the 2010 team that lost in Super Bowl XLV against the Green Bay Packers. Between 2009/2010, Woodley produced 112 tackles and 23.5 sacks, earning Pro Bowl honors in 2009.

Where are they now?

After Woodley was released in 2014, he found himself in brief stints with the Oakland Raiders and Cardinals, having last played in 2015 before being put on injured reserve in November of that year.

Since his playing days, Woodley has dabbled into digital media, having his own YouTube channel produced by Area 56, his own video production/online entertainment company. Woodley also co-hosts his own show on NFL Network titled “Tackle My Ride”, where he and other former players surprise fans across the country with their favorite players and give their vehicles a complete makeover.
