Week 16 at New Orleans Saints

Surprisingly, this is the only road game we’re listing, but this one is a whopper. With the game taking place on Christmas Eve Eve, it may take another Christmas miracle to win this one.

The Saints are a high-powered offense with a hall of fame quarterback in Drew Brees. He has the ability to work with any wide receiver combination given to him season to season, but last year was gifted with the one-two punch of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara at running back.

Kamara emerged as one of the most dynamic running backs in the game and could give the Steelers’ defense fits trying to stop him. It’s quite predictable that the Steelers will make efforts to stop, or at least slow down Kamara, but that’s when a quarterback as good as Brees starts hitting open guys the Steelers forget about.

The Saints defense is also underrated. Their offense immediately comes to the forefront of people’s minds when thinking about New Orleans, but their defense made big strides last year. They used to be one of the worst defenses in the league, but last year they improved to being right in the middle of the pack in all major defensive categories.

The Steelers best chance of winning this game will be the offense putting up ridiculous numbers and converting in the red zone. The Steelers’ defense will have a very difficult time stopping the Saints’ offense, so the offense will need to make the most of every opportunity they get.
