With the Pittsburgh Steelers 2018 season officially underway, we take a look at storylines to monitor through training camp.

The most wonderful time of year is officially upon us. That’s right, this week marks the last week with no football until the second week of February. The sounds of sleds being pushed, pads clashing and whistles blowing can only mean one thing: The Pittsburgh Steelers are back at Saint Vincent College for training camp.

2018 is already off to an interesting start, with Antonio Brown arriving to camp in a helicopter.

The entrance is all that needs to be said for the expectations for the upcoming season: Sky high. A team with as much brand power and potential as the Steelers are continuously under the pressure to win, and 2018 is no different.

Training camp provides all 32 teams in the league an opportunity to lay the foundation for a successful season. Hope and optimism pollute the air for teams like the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, as all three start on even ground to prevent Pittsburgh from winning the division three times in a row. The last team to accomplish such a feat? The Steelers, who ran the AFC Central table for four years from 1994-1997.

While another division title is a goal circled on the Steelers list, it is merely another step to an elusive seventh Super Bowl championship. Yet it all starts in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, much like it has for the last 53 years.
