Pittsburgh Steelers football is here, and everyone is at the edge of their seats waiting for kickoff. But before the game starts, make sure you know everything you need to about the Steelers’ preseason.

The offseason reviled a lot about the Steelers. For one, it showed they aren’t as invested at the running back position as some teams are. Le’Veon Bell is still not around and hasn’t shown any signs that he’s going to change that prior to Week 1.

That’s not the only thing, though. This team has had excitement around every turn, both good and bad. Now, they head into their preseason opener with some players to watch, position battles to evaluate and 90 players all looking to earn their place on the final roster.

Don’t expect many starters on the field for this one. Preseason openers don’t usually bring many players you’ll see on the field for the first snap of the regular season. But that’s fine, because at this stage in the season, everyone is trying to watch the guys who are still earning their place in this league.

Without the starters on the field, though, not everyone is aware of what’s happening before the game starts. No worries, we have everything you need to know before you put on that jersey, break open that bag of Doritos and scream at a game that’ll mean nothing four weeks from now.
