Pittsburgh Steelers: 3 players who made a case for the 53-man roster
By Alex Fasano
Damoun Patterson
The night started off with JuJu Smith-Schuster performing a tribute to Canton’s newest inductee, Randy Moss. I can’t wait to see what he does in a few weeks, when they play in games that actually matter.
Now I know what everyone is thinking, the Steelers already have a stacked wide receiver corp, how can they possibly add anyone else? Well, this undrafted free agent has a few things to say about that.
The Youngstown State alum stepped up big against the Eagles, grabbing six catches for 77 yards and a touchdown. Not to mention an awesome leaping grab from Joshua Dobbs for that 29 yard score, adding a circus style back flip to the celebrate.

This 6-foot-2, 190 pound receiver caught the attention of everyone with his big time plays.
The Pittsburgh offense, as we all know, is jam packed with talent. The depth chart features Antonio Brown, Eli Rogers, JuJu Smith-Schuster and plenty more. Patterson currently sits at the bottom of the barrel, but may have just surprised the coaching staff after this win.
If he keeps up the productivity, I see no reason to leave him off the final roster. At the end of the day, the first couple of spots are already set in stone, but the extra talent that comes from Patterson’s play style should definitely be taken into consideration.
