Week 2 of the preseason was nothing to remember for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they seemingly let anything happen on their way to a 51-34 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

It wasn’t a fun time for Pittsburgh or their fans. Everyone watched as the team gave up touchdown after touchdown, both on offense and defense. Green Bay out-performed the Steelers in almost every aspect.

Of course, it’s only a preseason game. A loss, even on this bad, is nothing to freak out about. A decent amount of starters were off the field and the only two quarterbacks to play combined for one full year of NFL experience.

Even in a game this bad, though, the Steelers still showed light. Ryan Shazier made everyone smile when the team displayed a video of the inside linebacker walking by himself off the field. But on the field, Pittsburgh was slim with the success they showed.

There were winners for the Steelers. Not many, but they didn’t walk out completely empty handed. You can say more people lost value than gained it, but in the NFL that happens daily.

For Pittsburgh, they need to figure out the solution to a number of their problems. With two weeks left, they have plenty of time to do so. They don’t want to wait, though.
