Rising Stock

James Washington

James Washington is earning every stripe he has in Pittsburgh. The rookie wide receiver is everything he was advertised to be and people should be excited about seeing him on the field during the regular season.

Five receptions for 114 yards and two scores was noticeable throughout the NFL, not just this game. He’s continued to prove himself and there’s no doubt he’ll be a valuable asset for Ben Roethlisberger once the season starts.

James Conner

James Conner is continuing to try and prove to whoever still doubts him that he’s capable of being a productive NFL running back. People are starting to talk about his playing time during the regular season and he’s earned that.

The drive where he took Pittsburgh entirely down the field for a touchdown proved his worth on this team. Maybe he’s no Le’Veon Bell, but his future is bright, and we need to pay attention to it.
