The Tennessee Titans will provide a great opportunity for a number of Pittsburgh Steelers roster hopefuls, as the starters get the go to play and the backups will see the second half.

Week 3 is the time to show up or shut up for many NFL players. This is the beginning of the end for players who are on the bubble and not quiet making the cut. A strong performance in your team’s preseason game and you move on to Week 4. A weak one, and you’re looking for a new job.

In Pittsburgh, it’s no different. There a more players than you can think of on the verge of making this roster. Against the Titans, they’ll need to prove they deserve a chance, before someone else decides they don’t.

These players will need to continue to prove themselves heading into the season if they want to be a game day active, but making the roster is a start. And against the Titans, in a game where the coaches will be making some final roster decisions, there’s no better stage.

Make sure to keep an eye on these three players on Saturday.
