It’s the final week of the preseason and the Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of answers left ahead of them before Week 1.

Time is limited as the Pittsburgh Steelers head into Week 4 of the preseason. They’ll face the Carolina Panthers as they search for answers to a number of questions.

Week 4 will leave the Steelers, and the fans, with answers. The questions that have followed them throughout the summer will finally find the solutions they were searching for. There are expectations on this team, and with the final preseason upon us, we’ll see if they are or aren’t met.

Come Friday morning, Pittsburgh will begin shaping their roster. With that, they’ll answer the questions everyone has been asking. But until then, Week 4 will leave the best opportunity to find these answers ourselves.

Is Josh Dobbs staying or leaving?

His final preseason performance can keep him in Pittsburgh. It could also land him on another NFL roster. This depends on whether he does enough to keep himself afloat, or earns enough trade value that the Steelers can ship him somewhere else.

There are teams that can use Josh Dobbs. Miami, Kansas City and a number of other teams could use a backup quarterback with so much potential. Right now, not many teams are willing to give much hp for him. That can change.

If Pittsburgh can eleminate their quarterback competition by trading someone, they will, and they should. But this comes down to how well Dobbs plays.

The Steelers will keep him if they believe he’s going to be a quality backup behind Mason Rudolph. Anything more than that, though, and teams will offer something worth moving him. So, they will.
