Safety

  1. Morgan Burnett
  2. Sean Davis
  3. Terrell Edmunds
  4. Jordan Dangerfield
  5. Nat Burhe
  6. Marcus Allen

The Steelers will have six safeties on the roster and that is probably a first. Some are more special teams players and that is why they made it. I am thinking that the Steelers need safeties because they are going to use the dollar defense which features four safeties on the field. I think Dangerfield deserved to make the team and I am happy that the Steelers are going to develop Marcus Allen.

Specialists

1. Chris Boswell

2. Jordan Berry

3. Kameron Canaday

This is the same group as last year. Boswell has a new contract and should be primed for another big year. Berry held off Matt Wile but it was close. Canaday will return as the long snapper.

Next. Steelers don't want Bell to show before Week 1. dark

I think this is a good team. They are a little thin at the linebacker position, but a breakthrough season from Bud Dupree and Matthew Thomas could fix those issues. I see the Steelers making it to the AFC Championship again.
