NEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 23: Activists rally in support of NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick outside the offices of the National Football League on Park Avenue, August 23, 2017 in New York City. During the NFL season last year, Kaepernick caused controversy by kneeling during the National Anthem at games to protest racial oppression and police brutality. Kaepernick is currently a free agent and some critics and analysts claim NFL teams don't want to sign him due to his public display of his political beliefs. (Photo by Drew Angerer/Getty Images)

Nike released the most controversial ad campaign of 2018, and say what you will, but they did exactly what they love to do.

There’s something that makes Nike stand above the rest. They have this edginess to them that allows them to shine, and now, they’re taking that to the next level.

This week, they released their latest “Just Do It” campaign, featuring former NFL Colin Kaepernick. The ad features the former player with the slogan, “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything.”

The ad has received as much negative response as positive, as both ends of the spectrum have voiced their minds all over social media. But whether you’re burning shoes or buying new ones, Nike is still receiving attention.

Check out Ep. 19:

Le’Veon Bell still hasn’t reported to the team, and it’s starting to become a concern. Expectations were the star running back would return by Monday, September 3, but that has yet to happen. Now, the team is looking to head into Week 1 without him.

That may not be a problem, though, as James Conner is proving to be a valuable asset this summer. He appears to be the future of the position, and there is a reason to believe it’s a positive that Bell isn’t going to play in their first regular season game.

The Steelers still have enough going for them to outpower the Cleveland Browns. How this impacts the rest of the season is yet to be determined, but there shouldn’t be much concern that one of the league’s best rushers isn’t playing.
