NFC West
Noah – Rams, Rams, Rams. This one is easy, the Rams are the best team in football – on paper. They have everything, and if they can click, they’ll end up in the Super Bowl. This year is going to be a fun one to watch for LA fans.
Chris – Los Angeles Rams. By far the most complete roster in the NFL. San Francisco is vastly improved and could potentially make a run at a wildcard spot. Arizona is a solid team, but only six teams make it to the playoffs, and they aren’t a top-six NFC team. Seattle is about to implode. Russell Wilson is the only thing they have. If it weren’t for him, they could easily the 2018’s version of the Browns.
Ed – Los Angeles Rams. The Rams won the offseason extending Aaron Donald and acquiring Marcus Peters. They were already a playoff team before they added Peters, Cooks and Talib. Now they feature a good young coach, a good young quarterback and a talented roster.
David – LAR. The other team in Los Angeles boast the best defensive talent on paper in the conference but can they put it all together. Offensively, they have one of the best RB and Goff is now more than a game manager. Arizona is going to make some noise and if the defense comes to play, the season can surprise many. If Bradford makes it pass midseason healthy, look out! San Francisco is on the rise and if you are not careful, you may look up and find them leading the division by mid season. Good coaching with good talent is always a good mix but the defense has too many question marks. Seattle is in rebuilding mode without saying it and Russell Wilson is a good anchor to build around. The Legion is history and the offense will experience growing pains.
Zack – Rams. Returning division winners. Obviously, they have a great running back in Gurley. They aren’t a perfect team. The defense was fairly mediocre statistically last year. The Seahawks and the 49ers just don’t have enough to take advantage.
Donnie – Rams. Boy did those guys go all out for this season. Los Angeles might be one of the best all-around teams in the league. Arizona is still trying to figure things out, Seattle is in rebuild-mode and San Francisco isn’t quite there yet to make themselves serious contenders. As long as Goff is healthy, the Rams should win plenty of football games in 2018.
Scott – Rams. Wanted to go Cardinals but not this year. Rams have too much talent and a top young coach. I know the 49ers are some folks chic pick but they have no defense and just lost Jerick McKinnon. Rams from wire to wire.
Dan – Rams The Rams will win this division again with no one to really challenge them. The Seahawks lost so much on defense that it will be hard keeping games close. The 49ers may be one of the underdogs this year. I like the roster moves and draft choices but took a huge blow when they lost starting RB Jerick McKinnon for the year due to injury. The Cardinals have the NFL’s version of Glass Joe at QB with Sam Bradford and a rookie waiting in the wings. Their offensive line is very bad and ranked at 27 out of 32 teams by Pro Football Focus dot com.
Mike – Rams. Additions are Ndamukong Suh, Brandin Cooks, Marcus Peters, and a fat new contract for Aaron Donald. Competition includes a post-Legion of Boom Seahawks, a 49ers team operated by Jed York, and a Cardinals team propped up by a rookie, the always unpredictable Sam Bradford, and Mike Glennon.
