The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Cleveland to play the Browns on Sunday. They will be relatively healthy for the game. Here is a list of who the seven projected inactives will be.

Vance McDonald

has been ruled out for Sunday with a foot injury. This injury has been ailing him since the preseason. He was able to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday, but then he digressed into not practicing Thursday and Friday. Jesse James will get the start at tight end and in two tight end sets, we will see Xavier Grimble who has healed from hand surgery.

Mason Rudolph

He will be the third and inactive quarterback on Sunday. At this point, it is really just his job to develop and run the scout team. He said this week that he was surprised how few reps the scout team quarterback gets. He is on the roster to be the quarterback of the future.

Zach Banner

He is probably the ninth lineman on this roster and so it will be hard for him to get time on the field, especially early in the season. He is probably Mike Munchak’s project right now with his size. The hope is that the Steelers can develop him into something for the future.

Chukswoma Okorafor

Okorafor will probably be inactive as he was drafted to develop into a future tackle for the Steelers. The Steelers will roll out BJ Finney and Matt Feiler as their active reserve linemen. Matt Feiler is just more polished than Okorafor at this point in his career. I could see a scenario where Okorafor gets a helmet over Feiler, but that is when the Steelers feel he is ready.

Dan McCullers

McCullers was the sixth lineman last year and so you would think that would not change this year. To McCullers credit, he did have a good camp and preseason and that is why he is back with the team over Joshua Frazier.

Coty Sensabaugh

He may get a helmet, but I would bet against it because he is not as valuable on special teams. He can play the jammer position when asked, but his forte is playing corner. His job will be to give the Steelers depth at the cornerback position behind Cameron Sutton.

Justin Hunter

I could see the Steelers going other places with his seventh inactive spot, but I think it will be Hunter. James Washington is healthy from his abdominal strain and I hope the Steelers get Washington on the field.
