Pittsburgh Steelers: 5 players to watch against the Browns

Terell Emdunds
The first-round draft pick out of Virginia Tech, safety Terrell Edmunds was a solid pick, at least for me. The Steelers needed help on defense, period. Without Ryan Shazier, they lacked the spark to ignite the blue-collar defense Pittsburgh was built upon. After a promising preseason, Edmunds has his moment. He ended with nine total tackles, one interception, forced fumble, and fumble recovery. Check out his first NFL pick, with a decent run back after the catch.
Everyone knows the offense will put points on the board each and every week. Offense wins games, but defense wins championships. Pittsburgh needs to balance their game to make it over the New England and Jacksonville humps. I’m not saying be a non-stop, total bruising brick wall, but maintaining a stable defensive front that limits the big play is something Pittsburgh hasn’t seen since Rod Woodson was in the secondary.
