The Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns in their 2018 regular season opener. Here’s how to watch.

No one backups, rookies or position battles. The preseason is over and the Pittsburgh Steelers head to Cleveland to take on their AFC North rival, the Browns, in a huge Week 1 matchup.

This isn’t the Cleveland Browns of the past. They used a 0-16 season to move their roster around, find draft picks and make offseason moves that have people talking. Are they a Super Bowl caliber team? Probably not. But they’ve made enough noise to be taken seriously, this season.

For Pittsburgh, they’re hoping they put the finishing touches on their Super Bowl hopes. They weren’t quiet this offseason, and still remain one of the NFL’s most headlined teams. They’ll travel to Cleveland without Le’Veon Bell, with hopes that James Conner can prove he’s worthy of moving the future to the present.

This matchup is going to be different that watching the Steelers win without much effort. The Browns always provide some sort of trouble, and this year, they’ll be a team Pittsburgh needs to take seriously.

The Steelers begin their journey to the Super Bowl a little differently than expected, but still remain optimistic. They have changes, a revamped defense, and an offense that may be considered the best in football.

They’ll be using all the pieces to the puzzle to bring home a Week 1 victory, and discover what’s working, what’s not and what needs to be changed before Week 2. They may not be able to tell Bell to show up in the ground game isn’t working, but they’ll use this season opener to solve whatever running issues they may have.

Football is back! Pittsburgh may be rainy, but the fans are excited, and the road to Lombardi number seven starts now. Welcome back.
