The Pittsburgh Steelers had a very interesting week one game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. Many players improved their stock and others hurt it. Let’s look at who did what in this week one stock report.

The Pittsburgh Steelers season opened on the sour note. Although they did not technically lose, they did not win either.

The Steelers saw some players improve their stocks in this game but also saw some drop. The following players either need to build on what they did week one or take a long look in the mirror to improve moving forward.

Ben Roethlisberger – Stock: Down

Big Ben had a very disappointing first game. He threw three interceptions and lost two fumbles on sacks by the Browns defense.

His road numbers have been very underwhelming in the recent past and that continued week one. Although the Steelers usually see Big Ben have great games in Cleveland, Sunday was not one of those games.

Big Ben will need to put this game behind before week two. He did have 300-plus yards and one of the interceptions was a good throw that hit Jesse James right in the hands only to be dropped and picked off on the tip.
