Welcome to the Bizarro world, also known as the National Football League. From Nike ads to FitzMagic, opening weekend was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. The AFC North is one of football’s most underrated divisions, so who came out on top after Week 1?

4. Pittsburgh Steelers

Alright, I’m going to say it, the Steelers should have lost that game. They DESERVED to lose that game. A tie?! Against the Cleveland Browns?! Where was Big Ben? Where was Antonio Brown?

If you really don’t agree with me, just know that Pittsburgh was up 21-7 entering the 4th quarter. Look, I get it, it was pouring rain, the ball was wet, etc. but Ben Roethlisberger was pitiful. He managed over 300 yards, but threw three interceptions. JuJu Smith-Schuster was one of the biggest upsides of the day, going for 119 yards on five catches (James Conner too, but his fumble really shifted the momentum).

T.J. Watt tied a franchise record, four sacks in the game, yet they couldn’t stop Tyrod Taylor….yes Tyrod Taylor.

If anyone on the Steelers is reading this, please know, that unlike the towels, this was really terrible. We know Pittsburgh wants to show the league (and the world) that they are a real AFC juggernaut. After earning a tie against arguably one of the worst teams in sports, they are nowhere near the position to do it.
