The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a tie to the Cleveland Browns and will look to get their first win of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at 1:00 pm EST. Below are the projected inactives for Sunday’s game.

David Decastro

The Steelers will be without their star guard this Sunday as he has a fractured hand. It seems he was able to come back into the game against the Browns, but it’s probably best that he rest it for the week so that it heals correctly. Also, BJ Finney might be more effective because he is healthy. Finney should start at right guard and probably Matt Feiler will get a helmet in relief duty.

Joe Haden

Haden has a hamstring injury and so it is probably best that he rest it this week. If a player comes back to early from a hamstring injury, they can further injure themselves. Cameron Sutton has been effective thus far and will start opposite Artie Burns.

Tyson Alualu

Alualu has a shoulder injury and was limited on Thursday and Friday as well as being out on Wednesday. The Steelers like to play Alualu in relief of Tuitt and Heyward. Unfortunately, it looks like LT Walton will be the first defensive end off the bench this week.

Mason Rudolph

Ben Roethlisberger is listed as questionable but I think he will go on Sunday. Josh Dobbs is the next man up if Roethlisberger can’t go. Mason Rudolph is thus gonna be inactive if Roethlisberger is able to go.

Zach Banner

Banner was inactive last week and is probably the ninth offensive lineman on the roster right now. With only Decastro hurt, it will probably be Banner’s week to sit again.

Marcus Allen

The Steelers have six safeties on the roster and so at least one of them will probably be inactive. My bet is that it is Marcus Allen because the others will play on defense or on special teams.

Xavier Grimble

This is a hard one to project as it could be James Washington or Stevan Ridley that sit. I think the Steelers want to dress three tight ends but will need a seventh inactive and so I think Grimble is the answer. It might not hurt that he had hand surgery lately and this will give him rest.
